Wescast offers design, prototyping, manufacturing, and testing services to OEMs such as Ford, GM, Chrysler, and VW. The company's products include catalytic converter containers, exhaust and turbo manifolds, and turbine housings for turbocharger assemblies. In addition to its five production facilities in North America, Wescast has foundry and machining facilities in China and Hungary. Wescast was acquired by China-based Sichuan Bohong Industry for about $245 million in early 2013. Sichuan Bohong operates in the automotive, manufacturing, real estate, and energy sectors.
